Due to the wide variety of products, models and component parts, to order a part for a Wedgelock product it is first necessary to contact us using one of the methods below.
In order to supply the correct matching part for your Wedgelock Product it will usually be necessary for you to furnish us with the SERIAL NUMBER of the product.
All modern Wedgelock products will carry a black aluminium serial plate (top left and top right) with the relevant details of the product. Older models will have an aluminium plate like above left. Most products will also have a serial number stamped into the ear plate (above right) or similar.
The operator should be able to exit the cab and view the serial ID plates of Wedgelock products without having to search for them and do so from the cab (LEFT) side of the excavator or BACK of the attachment.
All Wedgelock products will have the SERIAL NUMBER stamped on the LEFT ear (or equivalent).
LEFT is when viewed from the cab of the excavator and is usually the pin-retention side of the attachment.
All couplers will have the SERIAL NUMBER stamped on the LEFT ear (or equivalent).
The Identification Plate will also be on the left ear – where it will fit.
The ID Plate is recessed on the inside of the left ear on mini couplers.
All buckets will have the SERIAL NUMBER stamped on the LEFT ear.
The Identification Plate will be between the ears on the back of the shell.
The ID Plate should be able to be seen when the bucket is attached to the coupler.
All tilt buckets will have the SERIAL NUMBER stamped on the LEFT ear.
The Identification Plate will be between the ears on the top base plate.
The ID Plate should be able to be seen when the bucket is attached to the coupler.
PowerClamps will have the SERIAL NUMBER stamped on the LEFT frame.
The Identification Plate will be on the base plate on the left side.
The ID Plate should read when the PowerClamp is pointing down.
Most Wedgelock attachments will have the SERIAL NUMBER stamped on the LEFT ear.
The Identification Plate will be between the ears as far back as possible.
The ID Plate should be able to be seen when the attachment is on the coupler*.
*There will be a few exceptions, notably on smaller weight classes.
